There’s just one game in the Ivy League again tonight, as Brown plays host to New Hampshire. Coming off strong end-of-game performances against UC Davis and Quinnipiac, the Bears will look to extend their winning streak against an improved Wildcat squad.

Don’t by fooled by New Hampshire’s 3-4 record. Three of the Wildcats’ losses have come by respectable margins on the road against Boston College and Rhode Island, and Bill Herrion’s team has dropped close games at Harvard and at home against Northeastern. Brown has had problems forcing turnovers like it did last season, and UNH is careful with the ball, so the Bears are going to need make closing out on perimeter shooters a defensive priority. Tyrece Gibbs could present a problem defensively for Craig Robinson’s backcourt, as the 6-2 junior is equally capable of blowing past defenders and hitting from the outside. The good news for Brown is that the Wildcats are getting lit up from three, allowing opponents to shoot 40.8 percent from the outside, and they aren’t likely to hurt the Bears on the glass.
Stat to watch: Three-point shooting
