The Bears looked great in their season opener at Eastern Michigan on Friday, and they’ll look to continue that against a Wolverine squad that had no problems with Radford in an 82-55 win that same day. Brown will have its hands full with Michigan center DeShawn Sims, who put up 23 points and seven rebounds in his first game.

Penn (0-1) at Loyola College (0-1) – noon ET

Following a tough overtime loss at Drexel, Penn looks to break into the win column in Maryland. The Quakers will face a Loyola College team coming off an 83-69 loss at Towson. Gerald Brown is the Greyhound’s top player, averaging 22.2 points per game last season and scoring 17 in the first game of this season. Penn will be without Darren Smith, who injured his knee early in the Drexel game.

Princeton is looking forward to a fresh start, and they’ll have the chance to start the season on the right foot at home. They’ll be facing a CCSU team that made the NCAA Tournament last season after winning the regular season NEC title and the NEC tournament, though the Blue Devils suffered heavy graduation losses and were picked sixth in the preseason NEC poll. Howie Dickenman does return senior guard Tristan Blackwood — a preseason Mid-Major All-American after scoring 17.1 points per game last season.

Northwestern State (0-2) vs. Harvard (0-2) – 3:30 pm ET
Someone is going to leave Palo Alto 0-3, and both teams will be looking to avoid that fate. Harvard looked much better yesterday before fading late against UC Santa Barbara by a score similar to Northwestern’s State loss to the Gauchos. The Crimson will look to contain 6-9 Trey Gilder (13.5 points per game) inside and 6-5 Colby Bargeman on the perimeter.
