Key sequence: After a Mike Lang four-point play finished off a 10-2 Dartmouth run that trimmed Penn’s lead to 32-29, the Quakers rolled off seven straight points on a pair of Ibby Jaaber fastbreak baskets — his first points of the game — bookended around an Eric Osmundson three-pointer. The Big Green never got closer than eight points the rest of the way.

Gamecenter: Dartmouth 60, Princeton 63

Key sequence: Dartmouth led 57-51 with just over two minutes left, when Justin Conway scored his 16th and 17th points of the night on a layup to make it a four-point game. Cal Arnold missed a three-pointer and John Ball grabbed the rebound, but Luke Owings stole the ball from him. At the other end, Scott Greenman found Owings for a three-pointer to cut the Big Green lead to one. After another Dartmouth turnover, Edwin Buffmire posted up Leon Pattman and got the bucket and a foul, hitting the free throw to put Princeton up two with 33.9 seconds left. Pattman tried to tie the game at the other end, but Buffmire got a hand on the shot and Owings collected the rebound.

Gamecenter: Yale 64, Cornell 68

Key sequence: Trailing by four with under 14:00 left, reserves Jason Hartford and David Lisle keyed a 15-2 Cornell run that gave the Big Red a 54-45 lead with 8:16 remaning. Cornell repeatedly gouged the Yale defense, getting five layups during the spurt. Hartford capped the run with a three-pointer from in front of the Cornell bench to push the lead to nine, and the Bulldogs would get now closer than three the rest of the way.
