Things got interesting this week, as two teams that had run up impressive records against iffy schedules both had rough weeks, while the two bottom teams each picked up a much-needed win on Saturday.
Gamecenter: Wyoming 50, Princeton 59
Key sequence: Princeton had seen its 17-point lead trimmed down to just one point on a Wyoming three-pointer with 3:34 left. With the shot clock under 10 seconds, Kyle Koncz took and hit a long three-pointer from the left wing to restore the lead to two possessions at the 3:01 mark.
Busy Saturday
Half the Ivies are in action today, so someone should definitely end the league-wide six-game losing streak that dropped the overall record to 22-27. With Brown probably an underdog at Binghamton and Princeton favored over Wyoming only in Vegas, a sweep will be tough. 3-1 would be a good day, 2-2 is far more likely.
High school teammates recruited by Ivies
The St. Louis Times reports Kirkwood High School senior teammates Billy Brandenburg and Cody Green are both being recruited by Ivy League schools.
