For the fourth time in five weeks, the league office couldn’t make up its mind about the Ivy Player of the Week, deciding to give out a joint award to Columbia’s Noruwa Agho and Harvard’s Jeremy Lin.
It would have been hard to deny either player the honor, as Agho lit up Wagner (30 points) and Bryant (23 points) for two important road victories. Agho has made 64 percent of his attempts from behind the arc this season, which leads the nation.
Lin posted a near repeat performance in Conte Forum on Wednesday night, dropping 25 points on Boston College, as the Crimson beat the Eagles for the second-straight year.
It was the third Player of the Week award for both Agho and Lin through just five weeks of the season.
Princeton forward Ian Hummer took home the Ivy Rookie of the Week award after recording 17 points against UNC Greensboro yesterday. He is the fifth different freshman to take home the league’s Rookie of the Week honor.
