Notes
– Alex Barnett scored just 10 points but had a career-high six assists and just one turnover for Dartmouth. He also had an alley-oop dunk on a pass from 40 feet out. Johnathan Ball had 10 rebounds, eight points, four assists and three rebounds for the Green.
– Daniel Webster was playing its first official Division I opponent since joining the NCAA in 1989. By prior arrangement, its loss to The Citadel in the first game of the season counted on The Citadel’s record but not on Daniel Webster’s.
– The Big Green shot 54.3 percent from the field and a season-high 50.0 percent (8-for-16) from long range.
– Adam Powers had 12 points in 11 minutes for Dartmouth.
– Dartmouth blocked a season-high 12 shots with seven players collecting a block and five players having two apiece.
– Dartmouth has won four of its last five and at 5-4 has matched its best nine-game record since 2001-02.
– Daniel Webster was called for just five fouls all game and one in the second half, a big reason why the game was over in under 90 minutes.
– The combination of an impending Nor’easter and an uninspiring opponent helped keep the attendance down to 315.
– The Big Green returns to Division I competition when it heads down to Connecticut to face Quinnipiac on Wednesday, December 19, at 7:00 pm ET.
