Two longtime Division I programs just over two hours apart meet for the first time since the 1935-36 season when Boston University pays a visit to Lee Amphitheater to take on Yale.

Both teams have played challenging non-conference schedules and each just recently snapped an extended losing streak. BU has had offensive problems thus far, both with its shooting (288th in the nation in effective field goal percentage) and with turnovers (24.5-percent turnover rate). Defensively, the Terriers have been giving up a lot of second chances with bad defensive rebounding, but the Bulldogs have been a poor offensive rebounding team. The point guard duel between Eric Flato and BU’s Corey Lowe should be interesting to watch, with both players looking to make plays and put the ball in the bucket.
