Penn’s clinching victory last night means we can start the full-on version of Seed Watch for the Quakers. Things kick into high gear in conference tournaments on Saturday, with a few other teams joining the Field of 65. Penn caught a break last night when the College of Charleston took down Appalachian State in the Southern Conference semis, but now the Cougars will need to repeat that feat against Davidson in the final. Also, it’s a long shot, but VMI has a chance to knock off Big South favorite Winthrop in the Big South Tournament title game. Additionally, sprinkled in with all those tournament games are a number of non-tournament games involving allies and enemies.
