The Chambersburg Public Opinion reports that 6-7 senior forward Alex Tyler of The Mercersburg Academy has committed to Cornell. The Maryland native was previously reported to have general Ivy League interest.

Tyler is the fourth Cornell prospect to make his commitment public, joining swing man Geoff Reeves, small forward Ryan Wittman, and post Pete Reynolds as 2006 Big Red recruits.
