Gamecenter: Dartmouth 61, Massachusetts 98

Key sequence: It’s tempting to say that injuries to Leon Pattman and Johnathan Ball that forced them to sit out the game were the key sequence. But in terms of the action on the hardwood, UMass stormed out with a pair of three-pointers and a layup on its first three possessions. The Minutemen scored the first 10 points of the contest, and never looked back.

Gamecenter: Princeton 73, VMI 68

Key sequence: VMI staged a furious late rally, scoring on eight consecutive possessions to whittle an 18-point Princeton advantage to just two in less than five minutes. Gamecenter: Maine 71, Harvard 75

Key sequence: After numerous lead changes, Maine went ahead on a putback by Phil Tchekane-Bofia with 3:46 left in the contest. Harvard’s Drew Housman got inside for a layup to put the Crimson back on top, and the Black Bears turned it over on their next possession. Jim Goffredo couldn’t connect on a three-point attempt, but Maine’s Junior Burnal missed the front end of a one-and-one. At the other end, Harvard sophomore Evan Harris drew a foul, got a layup to go, and coverted the free throw for a three-point play and a four-point Crimson lead.
