Columbia will hope the third time is a charm as it looks for the season’s first win in front of the home crowd against a slumping city rival.

The Lions are winless at home and the Terriers haven’t won on the road all season, so one of those streaks is going to come to an end tonight. St. Francis has lost three straight going into the game, including a 64-59 loss at Wagner, where Columbia won easily last week. The Lions have struggled with their shooting this season, and they’ll be facing a very good defensive club. The Terriers are particularly stingy on the outside, where they’re limiting three-point attempts and holding opponents to just 28.2 percent from long range. John Baumann and Ben Nwachukwu could have big games inside for the Light Blue, as St. Francis has been outscored badly inside on the season.
