Harvard admits four early

In a halftime spot on the Harvard radio broadcast of Tuesday’s game, Harvard College Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid Bill Fitzsimmons announced that four men’s basketball prospects had been accepted through Harvard’s early action program. He mentioned four names, including a pair of local 6-7 forwards — Pat Magnarelli of Duxbury and Doug Miller of Winchester — as well as 6-1 point guard Jeremy Lin of Palo Alto and 6-2 guard Mustafa Abdul-Hamid of Country Day School in St. Louis. So far only Magnarelli has publicly committed to Harvard.
