Mikaelyn Austin’s award-winning documentary, The Palestra: Cathedral of Basketball will air on ESPN Classic (DirecTV channel 208) on Thursday, July 5 at 10:00 pm ET. ESPN Classic will air an edited version of the film, running 60 minutes minus commercials. There are a number of repeat airings scheduled over July and August on ESPN Classic and ESPNU. The film features interviews with such notables as Dan Baker, Chuck Daly, John Chaney, Bill Bradley, and Fran Dunphy, and Dick “Hoops” Weiss, and the full 67-minute version will be available for sale on DVD on July 5 at palestradocumentary.com.
