PF Alex Tyler commits to Cornell
The Chambersburg Public Opinion reports that 6-7 senior forward Alex Tyler of The Mercersburg Academy has committed to Cornell. The Maryland native was previously reported to have general Ivy League interest.

New list for John Pietkiewicz
Hoopmasters.com is reporting that John Pietkiewicz, previously listed as a Cornell and Yale prospect by Rivals.com, is now also involved with Columbia and Dartmouth in the Ivy League, as well as Wofford, Furman, Lipscomb, and Division II schools.

Things look very bleak in Princeton right now after a 23-point loss to a Colgate team that Cornell handled easily back on November 22. This on the heels of the Tigers’ second straight double-digit home loss earlier in the week at the hands of a Lafayette squad picked next to last in the Patriot League preseason poll. The Temple game presents an opportunity for Joe Scott’s program to right its ship, as a win would bury a great deal of the ugliness to this point in the season.
